Jessica Ross
owner
Jess has been in marketing and branding for over 15 years. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2008 with her degree in Broadcasting & Electronic Media with an emphasis in Film. Hollywood was calling, but she just couldn’t leave her beloved Cincinnati behind. She took a video production job at a small company called Kona Ice and worked her way up to Director of Branding & Marketing in her decade long tenure. While there, she helped build that company from 100 franchises to over 1,600. In 2021, she started Martini Marketing and never looked back. She’s worked with businesses in food and beverage, publishing, home services, youth sports, financial services, law, business development and even the performing arts - although never on stage. However she has been known to give a speech or two and dabbles in the podcasting world with her friends. That love of movies had to be channeled somewhere! (You can find Jess as a host and contributor on two podcasts currently: The Booze Cruise Podcast and The Cinematic Blindspots Podcast.) She’s a Jess of all trades who is energized by people and creative problem solving. She has the ideas and the team to execute them.
Sarah Borne
art director & designer
Sarah B, as she’s known affectionately around the office, brings just the spirit(s) we need. She has loads of experience in the design world - both at an agency and as an in-house creative for Kona Ice. Sarah is a true unicorn in the design space. She’s creative, but she’s organized and great at communicating. Sarah deals with a lot of our clients directly - working with them on what they need. She can design anything from website images to social media posts to flyers to signage and much more! If it can be designed, Sarah can do it. And you’ll have a blast working with her in the process.
When Sarah isn’t designing or filling us all in on the latest restaurants she’s tried, she enjoys hanging with her husband Nick, her brand new baby daughter Ellie and her dog Millie. She’s an FC Cincinnati fan to her core and loves sushi more than most.

Evan Koons
designer & animator
Evan is our resident Superman - and not just because he played one on stage. (But I mean, how cool is that?) He comes in and saves the day on a regular basis by elevating the rest of us. He takes us to new heights and makes our content really soar. Whether it’s for graphic design or motion graphics, he has a way with colors and text that really makes your marketing pop. With a varied history of jobs, he pulls from a plethora of different experiences to help inform his designs.
When Evan isn’t making cool stuff, he’s making other cool stuff - like cocktails or more acting. He’s recently been in a short film and will be taking on the role of Stoick in Cincinnati Children’s Theater’s production of How To Train Your Dragon.
Brian Murray
video & podcast producer
Brian Murray - where to begin? If you’ve ever met Brian, you know what I mean. He has a personality that will light up the room - which makes him ideal for video and podcast production. He’ll make you feel at ease while simultaneously making you look (or sound) great. He’s worked in video production for the last 10+ years and has a long list of different projects to his name. He produces all of the Martini Marketing in-house podcasts and has been known to host a time or two. Find the dulcet tones of one Brian Murray on the Cinematic Blindspots Podcast.
When Brian isn’t working at the office or hitting up a local brewery, you can find him looking up photos of fat bears or playing Pokemon Go. Sometimes at the same time. He’s an avid concert-goer, season ticket holder to FC Cincinnati and has been known to take in more than one Cincinnati Bengals game in a season.

Chase Dunnette
videographer
Chase spent over a decade making real movies and TV shows - we’re talking Marvel, The Walking Dead, various dramas and comedies. So we’re lucky to have him on the Martini Marketing crew. He helps create content for our clients by coming up with creative social media reels and other videos. Don’t be surprised if he references some famous movies in the process, he’s a pop culture junkie and loves to pay homage any time that he can. Speaking of movies, Chase is a host and contributor to the Martini Marketing podcast, Cinematic Blindspots. Be sure to check out his episodes on Back to the Future, Hook and more of your childhood favorites!
When Chase isn’t watching movies or sports, he loves hanging with his wife Jess (other Jess) and his dog Ollie…while watching movies or sports. He’s a diehard fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Kentucky Wildcats and you can catch him watching the Bengals every Sunday.
Catherine Ross
social media & copywriter
Catherine holds a bachelors in elementary education and a masters in literacy from NKU and spent the first part of her career as an elementary school teacher. Upon having kids of her own and a big move to another city, she found herself a stay-at-home mom who wanted to continue doing something. She was ready to start tapping into the creative part of her brain and join the Martini Marketing team. She keeps us up to speed on all things social and keeps us organized too. She has a way with wit and words. And yes, she is Jess’s sister.
Catherine enjoys baking pies (amongst other delicious treats), hanging with her husband Matt and her two kids JD and Emma Claire, and watching hilarious movies.
